Pride Run Vienna 2020

„Run for Acceptance“

Under this motto more than 1000 participants start since 2018 at the Pride Run Vienna! The run is characterized in particular by the fact that a united running community is formed as a sign of acceptance!

As part of Vienna Pride 2020, the Pride Run Vienna 2020 will take place on Friday, 12 June 2020 starting at 8.30 pm.

With a distance of 5 km, the run is suitable for beginners as well as experienced runners.

The run starts and ends at the Rathausplatz (City Hall Square). The course is two laps (2x 2.5 km) from the University of Vienna to the Naturhistorisches Museum (Natural History Museum) on the Ringstrasse. This means a maximum motivation for all runners as they are passing the Pride Village and the cheering crowd four times!

For the Pride Run 2020 at the Ring, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 1,500 runners who will start in three starting blocks. More information about the starting times and the start bag pick-up will be sent to you in time via email.

Run with us and stand up for acceptance, equality and more visibility of LGBTIQ people! Not only LGBTIQ people are called to support this cause, but especially family members, colleagues, friends, companies and organizations who want to stand up for acceptance and equality!

Whether you’re running for yourself or someone you want to support with, whether you see it as an athletic challenge, or have an emotional background as your reason to run: Run for Acceptance and equality! Let’s run together and set a sign!
